I would like to know wether the auto email facility for reminding people of their appointments contains a statement regarding permission to contact and a means by which they can opt out or unsubscribe easily. This is essential for GDPR compliance so very urgent if not in place. Please advise
We’ve updated this so that you can cancel appointments within the same day or in the future.
Anything in the past is tracked as a no-show.
This is because we’ll soon be introducing No-Show charges and Late Cancellation charges.
previously if a patient cancelled by text or phone while I was busy with another client I could cancel it on the system later on after I had finished This is no longer allowed by your new system. It leaves the only option as no show which is innacurate, unfair on the client and could cause future misunderstandings with them. the system needs to be flexible to allow people without receptionist cover to use it. It was great before !
