Internet is not always reliable, thus if Shedul have offline working feature it will be great; Viewing Calendar Appointments / Checkout Ability / Create New Bookings
System is unable to load data for some time now, so difficult to run a salon with no information when you rely on Shedul for day to day
Not the first time we have hd this problem. NOW YOU CAN SEE WE REALLY NEED AN OFFLINE MODULE
Please can you tell us what the problem is and how long until it will be restored. Others are now commenting on this so it is a system wide problem....... Please Advise

I agree there needs to be a off line option, my internet cut out today and we had clients waiting to be booked in.

Are there plans to integrate with other calendars i.e. Gmail/Outlook, so that you can see your appointments easily whilst on the go/in a bad signal area?
For us, this would be very VERY helpful for the rare occasion where Shedul/Heroku are having issues!
With respect, Internet cuts out on mobile phones, too! I have a client who is a mobile hairdresser and she often goes out to villages in the country where there is poor signal, if any. Likewise, I have a client who runs a salon right on the coast (the sea is literally behind the shops opposite) and the mobile signal there is patchy.
It might indeed be a feature that would be best served on a mobile, though - I agree there! As you're planning a mobile app, this app could automatically download data at set intervals, in case you lose signal. It would then know there is no Internet connection when you enter new data, so it stores it locally and "makes a reminder" to upload it when the connection is restored.

Hello, our current diary system is a program installed on the studio computer which works offline. This is useful for if the internet is being slow or stops working entirely. The mobile signal inside the studio is weak so it wont always be an option for us to use our phones and not all members of staff have up to date smart phones.
I resolved my prior issue. see below. I just disabled notifications.
An offline mode would be handy when switching from another online booking system. My clients will be bombarded with reminders from both systems once i start adding their appointments . It would help tremendously when setting up.
I totally agree, this is such a good idea!!!

Internet is not always reliable. If my business cannot connect to WIFI, I cannot schedule appointments or view my appointments for the day.
pos system have online and offine button which communicate with the back office, when the back office fales the teminals still run as normal just reports doesnt get sent to the back office. maybe you can do the same with online book
I strongly agree offline booking is a great idea but the chances of them doing that not good. my old company i was with they say its a cloud base they not looking into software base, just go get ipad / iphone connect to the internet. Customers not going to wait while you do tech stuff. thats why i left them and told all my customer we not doing online booking for a while. im from a nail salon customer come in and out very quick its not easy to manage online booking and What happen when you lose the internet !
