Merge Duplicate Clients

It would be great if we could combine doubled up card files so we have an accurate picture of each client purchases.. Without a receptionist, some of our clients have 3 card profiles, as each stylist may have had difficulty finding their card and then created a new one.

We have big news, everyone!

We’ve launched Merge Clients! We know this was an important feature and highly in demand :D Thank you in advance for all of your votes.

This feature allows users to either Auto-Merge Clients, by finding all duplicated entries in the system and combine them with one click or Manual Merge, by selecting client entries individually.

On top of that, Shedul recognizes duplicates whilst a new client is being created, by matching existing data and therefore preventing any new duplicates being created.

Important – once a client has been merged, they cannot be un-merged.

It’s also worth highlighting that any staff member who have access to “Clients” will have access to the Merging Clients features.

    any updates on this topic as we have only started using this program recently and already have duplicate clients which is very frustrating and makes a lot of extra work. It should be a simple matter to merge files, our old program was able to do it and made life much easier.

    merging is not just client's name also the same phone Number match. because sometime spelling mistake and the same name, especially my county did not have last family name, many people have the same name can be hundreds of them. the best thing to match their email or phone number. Thank you.

    merging client is a very important feature request. sometimes client misspell their own name when booking online and this creates duplicate in the system. it's hard to keep track of appointment history if you have duplicate in the system. if you merge manually and delete the duplicate, you will lose client history

    when this feature request will be released?

    yes please this would really helpful. at the moment when we spot a duplicate we just delete one of them but then we lose their history. a merge would be great!!

    When a new client signs up online and shares a phone or email address it completely erases the other person. Please stop this from happening

    Would be cool to be able to merge existing clients. For example, if a client is added multiple times. If you could merge the clients, they would keep the appointment record information. Would help keep customers loyalty, instead of deleting duplicates.

    HOW TO MERGE PROFILES - This can be done when they arrive for an appointment or book. Let them know they will receive a few emails that they should ignore. Edit each profile followed by a number, Jane Doe 1, Jane Doe 2. You want to keep profile 1 and delete profile 2 but today's appointment is under 2. Double book the time with the profile you want to keep. Then cancel profile #2 and delete profile 2.
