    We’re developing an even better solution than the client having to pay deposits. We’re building a client facing application so they can “manage their bookings” including reschedule, rebook and cancel but it’s attached to their card details. As it’s all live bookings, it’s automatically confirmed.

    They’ll be reminded through the application to give them a chance to change the service details so there’s no need to re-confirm.

    If they no-show, you’ll have the choice to apply a no show fee or cancellation fee as you have their card details.

    This way, the clients are not blocki from booking but you’re still protected.

        I've been using this app for 2 year 8 months and still waiting for the "live cc payment option". It's definitely an inconvenience and a loss when there's an online bookings option without a deposit. I've been told by a rep via email that it would have been available over a year ago. I love the app but i'm getting tired.

        When is this taking effect??? Right now, it's inconvenient for the client & time consuming for me to have to separately ask for a deposit or have the client pay from a different app. I've had Shedul a year & a half now. I'd like to keep this app, but a deposit feature upgrade is MUCH NEEDED here.

        First Data and Elavon are both amazing payment gateways....
        You would have a huge advantage if you chose a gateway with a low processing fee.then charged a monthly fee to use it!

        No one uses creditcards for this kind of things in Europe, hope that just deposits also will be possible.

        Timeframe? If a way to take a card for booking is not available soon, I’ll have to move another booking provider. No shows or late cancellation are out of control. I see questions have been asked on this post for months with no responses. Hoping for an update. Thanks

        I really hope you pick your own payment gateway. Stripe is a huge contender and quite frankly, I wouldn't use this feature if it meant being locked into excessive rates by Shedul.

        Can you advise whether this is likely to become a compulsory feature of online bookings. I currently enjoy excellent rates with WorldPay for card processing and your proposed 2.9% + 20p per transaction would almost quadruple my costs! I also use Stripe to accept online payments through my web store and even their charges are only 1.4% + 20p. Would it be possible to limit the charge to a booking deposit only rather than a client's entire bill?

        also how can we explain to the clients that we cannot see their card details for security purposes. can you give an explanation how this protects them and us re security/fraud etc

        Can you please provide an estimated go live date with this application in Australia?
        Also, are clients able to pay by PayPal when they book online?

        can i ask when as we are being crippled with no shows? All phone bookings pay A BOOKING FEE BUT NOT ON LINE???
