New Feature: API
Connect to Crm systems (api technology)
Hi Romain, thanks for getting in touch. Not any time soon as we’re focusing on immediate feature requests but potentially in the future :)

I have a customer who wants to integrate this with their website, and an API to make it feel part of the same system would help engender trust for customers

This would be a great feature. Linking with something like Zapier would allow a wealth of integration at the touch of a button. Please prioritise this feature
API an absolute must - we (26 staff day spa in Australia) thought your solution was the perfect move away from Timely (which also has no API and terrible customer service).
We would also pay a premium to get this as we have 10 independent systems running at present that requires way too much labour for repeat entry of data. PLEASE PLEASE CREATE AN API

Hi Guys, your product looks great and we thought it was the magic bullet! Unforunately with no API to work with Zapier or Piesync, it is too much of a closed system. I know your giving preference to your most requested features but I do think a lot of your user base don't understand or can't articulate what is needed to make your system a far more desirable alternative to a customised app stack for the beauty industy and take away all the double handling with tranfering data manually. I for one would pay a princely subscription for a do it all API equpped solution. Thanks for your time.
Hello, I've built a Caller ID system using a USB softmodem for a salon using shedul. You can add new client to shedul when a unknown number comes in, but it spins up a headless selenium instance and logs in. A JSON API that can add clients would be much better.
+1 for API access - at minimum ability to manage our contacts via an api.. helps avoid managing multiple systems.....
nothing related to API?
Please please prioritise this feature!!!! :)
Zapier for sure
It would be great if we could use this to integrate with an email automation. Is it in the works at all?

Is there any further news on this? Put simply, even through the software is good, unless it can communicate and share data with other systems, it is not fit for purpose. No cloud based software should be without an API these days - our website CMS and CRM hold all the client details, the pricing / services etc and it is nonsensical to expect your customers to maintain two versions of everything.
An API should be the most important aspect of a piece of software, not one that is a "not anytime soon".
I'm reluctantly having to look elsewhere an probably inferior products but ones that can read our current backend database.
More that 50% Beauty, Spa, Lasers... services are sold through websites like (Groupon, Wowcher, Treatwell...) and it will be great to have such option to check voucher code or have field for this. For ex. my customer have 7 branches, and about 85%-90% of customers are from Groupon third party websites.

It would save a lot time and give shedul team flexibility and quick workarounds till the new features release
Is there a booking API planned?

This is a must for connecting front end websites to this system. Any of the data should be able to be pulled via JSON and in return be pushed back to the Shedul system. Even if it's not in the scope now, models like Users, Products, Services etc. should be available for say, e-commerce platforms, basic websites with login features, even mailing solutions.
A standalone product with no communication in or out is hard to effectively doubles the work of staff maintaining multiple channels.
The standard reports can never fully cover how everyone wants to view the numbers and report on their busses. Making all the data available via an API will allow each business to create their own custom reports that highlight their KPI's. Preferably the API would be a Webservice API of over HTTPS.
This would allow a custom report to group sales by duration or service group. What items are sold with what service? What service has the most rebook rate? What employee is does them most rebooking? I could go on and on and on... Bottom line life is complicated so shedul should be flexible.

It would be great for Schedul to release an API so that integration could be done with other systems.
This would open many doors for the most varied business.
An integration with Zapier, for example, would put Schedul in a communication overlay with thousands of other systems that companies also use.
Make a JSON API for some of the data to be extracted from the system, i.e. we want to get the data from the daily sales report, and automatically update the accounting system with how much cash we got, and also reconcile with credit card transactions reported by WorldPay. Other reports data available via an API would also be great.
We would like to be able to create clients from an external location. We have a detailed enquiry form on our website and it would be great to be able to save the client's details into our Shedul account without having to input it manually again.
what is de API?
