  1. Scheduling: Siesta / Lunch / Breaks

    The ability to set two shifts of opening hours for businesses that close for lunch-alternatively the ability to schedule a blocked time period permanently into calander to stop booking appointments during closed period. Ie we operate 6-11am then 3-7pm

    • Calendar: Client Ability to Cancel or Reschedule appointment online

      Cancel online, in confirmation message or in reminder sms.

      It would be great if guests who booked a service online are as well able to cancel/reschedule the appointment online (of course within the cancellation policy) and don't need to call or email for it

          The team have made a great start and should be ready in the next few months – Will update more closer to the time but not too long to go now!

          Process card payments through the system, including online, deposit /advance payments/no show charges etc is something we’ll be able to incorporate too.

          You can still use the POS system to track all financial records, taxes, commissions, tips, inventory, sales, raise invoices and more :)

        • Products: Consumption / Inventory / Professional Use

          Are you able to link the pos to a product inventory and also consumption inventory.

          When a service is created you could add an option for products used and amount used so that this can be deducted from the products in the consumption inventory when the sale is made/appt completed. Same goes for when a product sale is made, this should be deducted from the inventory.

            there must be client login area. where a client can look at their confirmed appointment or else he can cancel or reschedule their appointment by thier own.

                Hey Everyone – Marketing tools have started and are a few months away but reminders are already available and a seperate feature.

                The reminders/confirmations will send automatically but depend on your settings. If your confirmation and reminders overlap then a reminder may not be sent to avoid doubling up and your customer receiving too many messages. e.g if they’ve just booked an appointment for an hours time, they don’t need a confirmation and a reminder.

                Have a look at “Client Notifications” and see what your advance notice period is and what your “no remind if confirmation was sent” period is. Then you can set it up to however suits your business best. Here you can also personalise the messages.

                To make some test appointments, set your reminders to 2 hours in advance and the ‘no reminder’ period to 1 hour. Remember to save. Then make a new booking with yourself…

              • Messaging: Staff and Admin Notifications

                I, as administrator, would like to receive e-mail or SMS notifications of all new bookings, changes, and cancellations. This is very handy when away from the office.

                  Mini Update – Step one of Staff Notifications completed.

                  We’ve added an email notification for Staff when an appointment is booked online.

                  Go to “Setup” > “Business Settings” > “Staff Notifications” – here you can add two email addresses if you like, eg manager@salon.com, reception@salon.com and you can tick the box for staff members to also receive an email notification.

                  Stuff thats no roosted on a particular there names shouldnt show up, it makes the days booking look messey, i have over 25 stuff working part time

                    The only thing that I think you must correct is that if 2 users all looking the same date from different computers and 1 of these users make a change or book an appointment the other users will not see that change or the new booking immediately but they have to change date and then go back to the date that they were to see the new data. So you may have to put a refresh plugin that refreshes the view of all users let’s say every 5 minutes so all logged in users will see the same thinks alla…

                      Based on my experience with clients, I would really appreciate Book Status - Confirmed. For a beginning that can be just another button, were this information will indicate that my client confirmed upcoming appointment. As a extended version of this feature I would set up remained let say for 24 hours before and on this time clients could get a message/email were they have to reply on with simple "YES". After confirmation I would get a message and I can be sure, that all clients will come on the time.

                      This feature can be really useful especially for this type…

                        Extended version is something we’d like to incorporate by creating client ‘accounts’ so they can manage their bookings and confirm/reschedule easily.

                        I work 9am-2 pm then 4:30 to 8pm but its hard to go in and block out the time in between each day

                          Good news is, in around 6 weeks time we’ll have “Split Shifts” in the roster :)

                          The temporary workaround is to create a new service called “split shift” and assign $0 value, then choose how many hours it lasts.

                          Then in the calendar create a new appointment for the staff member and choose the “split shift” service, then use the “Repeat” function to make this appear in their calendar daily.

                            - Staff Commissions
                            - Staff Working Hours
                            - Staff Services and Product Sales

                            Actually hours worked can be tracked under "Sales ">"Appointments"

                            These reports are all building up to a fully Payroll feature.

                              You’ll now find under the “Sales” tab “Daily Sales”. This is a summary of your payment transactions which will help with Cashing up at the end of the day :)

                              Sometimes we book for one service then end up doing something different. It would be handy to be able to make that change at the checkout screen rather than editing the whole appointment and then checking out.

                                Being in the service industry, add-ons is a big thing. It would make life SOOOOO much easier if we were able to add on services in the POS system in addition to the adding on products. Sometimes we have time and the client may add on something in the room. Instead of editing the appointment then completing it.

                                • Calendar: Auto Refresh

                                  it would be beneficial if the diary automatically updated/syncd every couple of seconds in the background so it was live seeing if another user has changed something, if an online booking has been started etc.
                                  at the moment you have to go forward a day and back again or refresh the page everytime you want to book an appointment to make sure somebody hasn't changed or made appointments off there phone or online etc.

                                      You can already create a future appointment and check it out if they have already paid. The appointment will be marked as paid but not completed.

                                      Or, if they want to prepay but don’t have a date in mind, in a couple of weeks you’ll be able to have clients Pre-Pay for services by selling Service Voucher so they have a number to reference upon redemption. This will make it easy for you to sell pre-paid services and track upon redemption :)

                                      I need a report that lists by employee, service sales, retail sales, commission, and tip by payment type (cash, credit card) for a custom date range for payroll purposes.

                                          Good news is, you’ll be able to do targeted campaigns straight from Shedul in around 3 – 4 months :)

                                          You can export your data by going to “Reports” >"Client List" adjust your filters to All time, View, then Export.

                                          You will then have a full list of all of your data to use one Mail Chimp or similar tools.

                                        • Calendar: Scroll left to right

                                          It will be nice to be able to span the whole daily calendar view from left to right to see all staff members. The issue is when you have 15+ staff, it only view what fit on the screen and no ability to span left to right to view the whole daily calendar view. The only work around is doing individual staff which is a little painful when you have 15-20 staff members.

                                            Hi Erwin,

                                            We hear you and we do have this planned. There are a couple of things you can try in the meantime.

                                            Zoom out of your screen to allow more staff to fit.
                                            A physically bigger screen will help too or you can have a “dual monitor setup” which is even better because then there will be no need to scroll and you can see everyone in one view.
