  1. Client Logins / Client App / Client Account

    - Ability to Confirm appointments, and Cancel / Reschedule appointment online

    There must be client login area. where a client can look at their confirmed appointment or else he can cancel or reschedule their appointment by thier own.

    Login Access for Clients to manage their own appointments. Ability to book, confirm, cancel, reschedule, rebook etc. / verified credentials

      Important information

      We are super excited to announce that these features are now live and being enabled to our Shedul Super Users.

      Super Users are those who are already:
      - actively using Shedul
      - using Online Bookings
      - using the Check out features

      If you feel you qualify:

      - Include links to your website and business social media pages so we can select the best cover photo for your new upgraded widget.

      With the new online bookings widgets, clients will be able to create an account, add a profile picture, book, rebook, reschedule and cancel their own appointments and much much more :D

    • Merge Duplicate Clients

      It would be great if we could combine doubled up card files so we have an accurate picture of each client purchases.. Without a receptionist, some of our clients have 3 card profiles, as each stylist may have had difficulty finding their card and then created a new one.

        We have big news, everyone!

        We’ve launched Merge Clients! We know this was an important feature and highly in demand :D Thank you in advance for all of your votes.

        This feature allows users to either Auto-Merge Clients, by finding all duplicated entries in the system and combine them with one click or Manual Merge, by selecting client entries individually.

        On top of that, Shedul recognizes duplicates whilst a new client is being created, by matching existing data and therefore preventing any new duplicates being created.

        Important – once a client has been merged, they cannot be un-merged.

        It’s also worth highlighting that any staff member who have access to “Clients” will have access to the Merging Clients features.

      • POS: Modify / Add Services at Checkout

        Sometimes we book for one service then end up doing something different. It would be handy to be able to make that change at the checkout screen rather than editing the whole appointment and then checking out.

          We’ve created a brand new Appointment booking window, New Check out flow and more customisable Invoices.

          These features add loads more functionality, including:
          - New Designs
          - Increased optimisation for mobiles & tablets
          - Edit, Add and Delete services during check out
          - Appointment activity log per appointment
          - Visible Appointment History
          - Visible Product Purchase History
          - Express Checkout
          - Easily updatable Booking Notes
          - “Go Back” option during checkout
          - Optional additional text to Invoices
          – Invoice number sequencing per location

          Invoices and payments are now based on the actual day the invoice is raised and the actual day the payment is applied. This is because we are preparing to process REAL payments so the invoices and payments need to be officially dated to when they happen.

          I think it could be awesome if we can use a color palette in the calendar so we can color code appointments by services or by the staff member.

            You can now colour your appointments by “Service Group”, “Staff Booked” or “Booking Status” under "Setup">"Calendar Settings".

            Then either head to “Services” to set colours by service group, or head to “Staff” to allocate a colour per staff member.

                You can now create recurring appointments and as many as you like!

                In the top right hand corner of a new appointment, you’ll see ‘Repeats’. Click here to set up how many times you’ll like it to be repeated and how long for.

              • Multiple Tax Rates Per-Item

                Multiple separate tax rates, setup in separate fields, and listed on separate lines of an invoice would be essential in Canada, one each for PST, GST & HST, depending on the province, as noted here: http://www.retailcouncil.org/quickfacts/taxrates and here: http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/tx/bsnss/tpcs/gst-tps/rts-eng.html

                  It would be nice if we could have an automated phone call and text to clients for appointment confirmation. Also, I think we should have a capability to text promotional messages to clients individually or in bulk.

                  • Gift Vouchers

                    All gift vouchers should have a unique, automatically generated, code that gets assigned to a voucher upon purchase.

                    Once the gift voucher gets used as a payment option, the unique code should be entered and the voucher will then be deemed as used. Or, if there is an amount left on the voucher, it should adjust the value of the voucher accordingly.

                    If the voucher cannot be used as a full payment, one should have the ability to choose a second payment option, with the voucher option, in order to make a part payment from 2 different payment options.

                        We’ve seriously updated the online bookings widget to include a cover photo, business description, more personalised URL’s, client accounts and lots more. We are currently enabling these features to those who are Shedul Super Users:

                      • Products: Consumption / Inventory / Professional Use

                        Are you able to link the pos to a product inventory and also consumption inventory.

                        When a service is created you could add an option for products used and amount used so that this can be deducted from the products in the consumption inventory when the sale is made/appt completed. Same goes for when a product sale is made, this should be deducted from the inventory.

                        • Calendar Hide Non-Working Hours

                          I don't need to see all 24 hrs of the day on the calendar when I look at it. All us to see maybe two hours before and after the shift starts or ends or have that grey area shown before/after shift customizable. Then the actual appointments can spread out to wider blocks - instead of taking 30 min of 24 hr day they would take up 30 min of an 8 hour day

                            To reduce the amount of scrolling taking place on the calendar, we have now hidden the non-working hours from the beginning of the day / top of the calendar.

                            You can still add appointments in the non-working “area” by using the Green + Button in the bottom right hand corner of the calendar :)

                          • Export & Import Data

                            Great interface, would like to have the ability to download client list and all provided services, history of sales. Also, I would like to have Admin right to delete some reports from Appointments List Report. some data was entered for testing and can not be deleted !

                              Hi Everyone,

                              All reports are already exportable.

                              For importing clients, go to “Clients” >"Import Clients" and follow the directions.

                              You can already export your data whenever you like. Go to “Reports” >"Client List" adjust your filters to All time, View, then Excel for export.

                              Please remember, you can restrict who has access to “Reports” with “User Permissions” and therefore restrict who has access to export your client list

                            • Scheduling: Recurring Block Time

                              Blocked time needs to be able to rebook numerous times. e.g. i use it for school pickup etc

                                As you can now set up regular breaks and block times with “Split Shifts” under Staff Working Hours – we’re making this as complete :)

                              • Gift voucher redemptions should not count in sales total

                                When the voucher is sold (for example for cash), it's counted in sales total. Then, when it's redeemed, it's counted in total sales again. This double counts the voucher sales and redemption in the total sales value. The redemptions should not be added to the total sales value for the day, as the fact of sale happened on the date of the voucher sale.

                                  Snazzy New Reports For You!

                                  We’ve completely revamped your reports!

                                  Not only the design and structure, but we’ve introduced 20 new reports as well as changed how Vouchers are tracked.

                                  And that’s not even mentioned the lighting fast loading speed!

                                  All vouchers are now tracked in the “Accrual” accounting model. This ensures vouchers are only calculated once within your reports, meaning:
                                  - Voucher Sales are now excluded from all “Sales” Reports under “Analytics”
                                  - Voucher Sales are included in all “Payment” Reports
                                  - “Payment” Reports exclude Voucher Redemptions.

                                  Eg If I sell a $100 voucher today and the client pays in cash, it will show the $100 cash payment in my “Payment Summary” report. If the client redeems the voucher that same day, the redemption will not show on the “Payment Summary”.

                                  TIP: You’ll notice Voucher sales are tracked separately within the “Finances Summary” report.

                                  • Back Navigation During Checkout

                                    A back button when you want to check out a customer. For example when you go through to invoicing and the receptionist forgot to add a treatment or product, to be able to go back to to correct the mistake before you finish and raise the invoice.

                                      Along with Shedul’s new designs, during checkout and whilst applying your payment type, you can now “Go Back”.

                                      If you’ve realised you’ve applied the wrong payment type, have forgotten to apply a discount or edit the service / add a product, you can now select “Back to payment” – this will clear the payments applied, or click the small “x” next to the payment type. Likewise, you can simply continue editing the service or product as this will clear the payments applied.

                                      This allows you to freely to continue making edits to the sale and payment type, before raising the invoice.

                                      NOTE: Invoices cannot be edited once raised. This new process will give you more chances to ensure the invoice is correct before raising it. You can however Void and recreate an invoice or Refund and Exchanged for a new invoice.

                                      These are accounting policies rather than a Shedul’s.

                                    • Scheduling: Siesta / Lunch / Breaks

                                      The ability to set two shifts of opening hours for businesses that close for lunch-alternatively the ability to schedule a blocked time period permanently into calander to stop booking appointments during closed period. Ie we operate 6-11am then 3-7pm

                                          my team have access to Shedul. However, if admin can limit access for employees so they dont see everything.. giving that some financial information are available on dashboard .. client database ..products prices details (cost) ..etc.

                                            Is that the new Permission Levels feature live? I think it is!!

                                            You’ll see the new tab under "Staff">Permission Levels" to see which level has access to what.
                                            Once you are happy with these, go to “Staff Member” to change their permission levels.
