Appointment reminders for online bookings:
These occur for regularly scheduled appointments, but not when clients book online.

I've already ranted on another thread about this, but I think it deserves some serious attention if Shedul wants to be truly the BEST option in online booking services across the board. I've been using online booking for 10 years and I am here to tell you that this product is head and shoulders above Acuity, Mindbody, Genbook, Booker, Wix and a bunch of others - all of which I've used! HOWEVER - there is one major and super important area that none of these companies have gotten right and they are missing out on thousands of clients because of it.... Ready for it? It's not the slick interface, customizable app, or the ability to stick your picture in your profile. It's THE INVOICES. They are all terrible, ugly, and missing the all-important fields required to make them useful to anyone in a Health Care role who needs to issue receipts for their clients to use to make extended health care claims! This is SO simple and so frustratingly absent in the world of online business software.
Believe me, there is nothing worse that having an impressive website, intuitive booking system, and awkward useless receipts - it makes us look unprofessional, to say the least.
Currently, Shedul is missing out on Massage Therapists, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Kinesiologists, Psychotherapists, Chiropodists, Occupational Therapists, Osteopaths, Speech Therapists, Acupuncturists, and a host of other regulated health professionals because of an ugly invoice? Really?
Come on, guys! You are sooooo close to offering the best service I have seen. Please please please either:
Make invoices entirely customizable with the following field options that are ESSENTIAL to these professions:
- Client full name
- Business full name and address
- Full name of service provider and their *license number*
- Name of the service (ie: Therapeutic Massage)
- Duration of actual service (how many minutes or hours)
- Cost of service before taxes, if taxes are applicable
- Method of payment (not essential, but I'm throwing that in because it's sensible)
Simply make all invoices include this information. I'm good either way :)
I'm totally impressed. Now, why don't you blow the lid off the industry and get all the paraprofessionals I listed choosing Shedul over any other system because it serves their needs! It doesn't matter how pretty it is if we can't use it - so just make this one little change and I will shout from the rooftops that everyone should use Shedul. Promise.

You can now update the details that are displayed on your invoice under "Setup">"Invoices & Receipts" including client’s full name, address and custom notes.
Likewise, before applying payment, you can select “more options”>"Invoice details" and add ad-hoc notes directly to the invoice.
It seems that every client is listed in blue as a "New Client." When an appointment is booked, we are unable to determine if this is in fact a new client and requires new client paperwork, or if it is a returning client. It would be helpful to have options about the client's status when scheduling an appointment. Eg. New client, existing client, reactivation, etc. Thanks!12 votes
This is because you are not “Checking out” your clients.
Once the service has been finished. Click the appointment, click “Check out” and apply the payment types.
Once checked out, they system will be able to differentiate new vs returning clients :)
Add 24 hour time setting instead of AM/PM in general options12 votes
You can now update your calendar times under “Setup” > “Business Settings” > “Business Details” and at the bottom of the page, you can choose which time format you would like; 24 hour VS AM/PM.
With different locations you may have services which are not available on all of them. Adding an option to have them only in one or the other calendar would help12 votes
Because Services are allocated to Staff, the service will only appear available to be booked at that location if the Staff member is available to be booked. You can also specify services to Locations using “Resources” :)
Ability to have a variable price11 votes
On the first page of check out, you can manually adjust the price of the service.
Once completed, you can “Rebook” this service and it’ll create a new service with the exact same duration and price ;)
Otherwise, your price list should show you average service durations and prices and you can add a note to your service category explaining “Prices may vary due to appointment duration”
Would be nice if a client had say 3 treatments in one day and total up the price rather than just show the price individually for each one11 votes

You can now see who hasn’t visited you and for how long under “Reports” > “Client Retention”
Can a discount option (10%, 15%, etc. discount ) feature at checkout be added:11 votes
It would be helpful to have a way to alter the time a service takes for different staff members. For example a senior stylist might take 30 mins for a cut and finish, whereas a junior will take 45 mins. If we set it at either of these times, one staff member has to spend time out of a working day adjusting their times when they could be with a client. It would apply to any service where two or more different staff members take different times to complete the same service.10 votes
You can set this up as “Multiple Pricing” within the service. So create a service called “Cut & Finish”, then opt for multiple pricing, and tier the pricing & timings, ie:
30 mins $60 caption: Director
30 mins $50 caption: Senior Stylist
45 mins $30 caption: Junior Stylist

You can now track working hours under “General Settings” > “Roster”.
You can tick or “x” whether a person has been in this week or change the time they came in or left to help you keep track of your hours. :)

Most spas/salons market using Facebook and it's really important to be able to integrate the pixel onto the site. Most other scheduling softwares allow this. It's absolutely vital to have this feature on the app.9 votes

Think the essential element missing is development times.
When adding new services to your account I think there should be an option to pick development times and once set should be automatic when booking that particular service so that time in between is left blank to book other clients/services in

Did you notice the processing time feature go live yesterday?
All you need to do now is go into your services and allocate “Process Time” or “Block Time” to the services that require it so it appears in your calendar automatically.
Process time will allow people to online booking within this time online. Block time will not allow online bookings.

Hi there, you can have multiple price lists as the service is attached to the service provider and the service provider is attached to a location :)
So if Location A only Hair Cuts for a certain price and Staff Member A is set up to provide this Hair Cut then it will not appear on Location B as option :)

We have good news for you. We already have this! Just go to “Online Bookings” in the top tabs > Facebook > then follow the three steps to add the Book Now button to your facebook business page.
