  1. Gift voucher redemptions should not count in sales total

    When the voucher is sold (for example for cash), it's counted in sales total. Then, when it's redeemed, it's counted in total sales again. This double counts the voucher sales and redemption in the total sales value. The redemptions should not be added to the total sales value for the day, as the fact of sale happened on the date of the voucher sale.

    Snazzy New Reports For You!

    We’ve completely revamped your reports!

    Not only the design and structure, but we’ve introduced 20 new reports as well as changed how Vouchers are tracked.

    And that’s not even mentioned the lighting fast loading speed!

    All vouchers are now tracked in the “Accrual” accounting model. This ensures vouchers are only calculated once within your reports, meaning:
    - Voucher Sales are now excluded from all “Sales” Reports under “Analytics”
    - Voucher Sales are included in all “Payment” Reports
    - “Payment” Reports exclude Voucher Redemptions.

    Eg If I sell a $100 voucher today and the client pays in cash, it will show the $100 cash payment in my “Payment Summary” report. If the client redeems the voucher that same day, the redemption will not show on the “Payment Summary”.

    TIP: You’ll notice Voucher sales are tracked separately within the “Finances Summary” report.

  3. POS: No Show Charge / Invoice for last minute cancellations

    When booking appointments, would it be possible to have an option which allows us to hold customers credit card on file in case they don't show up or violate cancellation policy?
    Or for us to create and send a cancellation fee invoice to customers who don't cancel in time.

  4. Back Navigation During Checkout

    A back button when you want to check out a customer. For example when you go through to invoicing and the receptionist forgot to add a treatment or product, to be able to go back to to correct the mistake before you finish and raise the invoice.

    Along with Shedul’s new designs, during checkout and whilst applying your payment type, you can now “Go Back”.

    If you’ve realised you’ve applied the wrong payment type, have forgotten to apply a discount or edit the service / add a product, you can now select “Back to payment” – this will clear the payments applied, or click the small “x” next to the payment type. Likewise, you can simply continue editing the service or product as this will clear the payments applied.

    This allows you to freely to continue making edits to the sale and payment type, before raising the invoice.

    NOTE: Invoices cannot be edited once raised. This new process will give you more chances to ensure the invoice is correct before raising it. You can however Void and recreate an invoice or Refund and Exchanged for a new invoice.

    These are accounting policies rather than a Shedul’s.

  5. Scheduling: Siesta / Lunch / Breaks

    The ability to set two shifts of opening hours for businesses that close for lunch-alternatively the ability to schedule a blocked time period permanently into calander to stop booking appointments during closed period. Ie we operate 6-11am then 3-7pm

  7. Online Booking: Reduce Scrolling in Services Menu

    Maybe you can add Category to the services, when a client is Booking Online, so he/she will be able to find easier the service he/she needs and not to have to scroll down.

  8. Employees: Login Permission Levels

    my team have access to Shedul. However, if admin can limit access for employees so they dont see everything.. giving that some financial information are available on dashboard .. client database ..products prices details (cost) ..etc.

  9. Appointments: Delete / Edit Completed Bookings

    Sometimes we accidentally click on the completed status when we meant to click on the no show or cancel. We use the sales amount to distribute the customers among the technicians.

  10. POS: Add Booking Notes at CheckOut

    Update Client Histories - On checkout would be great to be able to record clients service details from today, and keep a rolling "history" of clients services and notes - e.g. Colour History

  11. Optimize for Mobile Use

    Booking appointments via mobile phone is a bit goofy - you need to view the page in landscape otherwise the calendar and times are on top of each other (iPhone 6)

    Also its impossible to create an appointment via the user console because the new windows are appearing somewhat offline.

    As part of your Fresha upgrade, you can a capture client ratings after the appointment has been completed.

    You now also have a dedicated report to view who has left you a review and for which appointment.

    See the ⭐ icon from the main menu on the calendar to view your ratings or head to “Online Bookings” to see your reviews tab

    There are still plans to include written reviews!

    We have introduced new permissions for “Can book appointments” and “Can checkout sales”, so owners can easily grant access to all actions related to appointment and sales modifications.

    When disabling these two permission levels, your staff member will have “View Only” access as they will be unable to edit, add or check out appointments :)

    Head to “Staff” > “Permission Levels”

  16. Calendar Quick Navigation

    Shortcut buttons to go to 2 weeks, 3 weeks from now, 1 month from now etc. / jump quickly to rebook appointments

    It would be helpful to have the drop down calendar on the "calendar" page to show 2 months at a time. It would also be helpful to have it show the week number as you move along each week. For example: 3 weeks from today would be the week 2nd week in March. It would help when figuring out booking an appointment "x" number of weeks out.

  17. Appointments: Processing / Cleanup Times

    hi can you look at creating appointment times with split times for processing, say for a colour it would be
    Application 30min
    processing 30min (left blank on the calendar)
    finishin 30min
    leaving the processing time free to book in extra appointments.
    Also if we would be able to edit the length of an appointment when we make it that would be great to.

    Processing time is now live!

    All you need to do, is go into your services and allocate “Process Time” or “Block Time” to the services that require it so it appears in your calendar automatically.

    Process time will allow people to make online bookings within this time. Block time will not allow online bookings.

    it would be great if we could see when it is a clients birthday :) even if this is a icon that pops up and allows us to see who's birthday it is so we can personally wish them a happy birthday :)

    Oh Yeh! Commissions are live! With two nifty reports too.

    You can now go to “Staff” and specify which percentage of commission each staff member receives based on Services and Products.

    Then go to “Setup” > “Business Settings” > “Point of Sale” and tick or untick the two options to suit your business needs.

    Have an explore and let us know your thoughts!

    PS – Changes to commission and tax settings will only apply to new invoices, existing invoices are not impacted.
