It would be great if we could combine doubled up card files so we have an accurate picture of each client purchases.. Without a receptionist, some of our clients have 3 card profiles, as each stylist may have had difficulty finding their card and then created a new one.558 votes

We’ve launched Merge Clients! We know this was an important feature and highly in demand :D Thank you in advance for all of your votes.
This feature allows users to either Auto-Merge Clients, by finding all duplicated entries in the system and combine them with one click or Manual Merge, by selecting client entries individually.
On top of that, Shedul recognizes duplicates whilst a new client is being created, by matching existing data and therefore preventing any new duplicates being created.
Important – once a client has been merged, they cannot be un-merged.
It’s also worth highlighting that any staff member who have access to “Clients” will have access to the Merging Clients features.

It would be great for upselling if we can add both the service and product in one invoice. Since we can add multiple services in one invoice, why not add products as well to the choices? Thanks!3 votes
You can already add products to invoices when you’re checking out an appointment :) On checkout, just click on “+ Add Item to Sale” and you can add products, services or vouchers to their invoice, there is no limit!

Would it be possible to put somehow mark the bookings that have notes?
It would be more convenient to see which booking have notes, so you don't have to open every booking to check for it.
I know in a laptop/computer you can hover the mouse over and see the notes, but I only have a tablet at my salon.3 votes
We’ve added a cheeky little speech bubble to the calendar appointments so you can see whether the appointment has important notes or not :D
So in this instance, it is our annual price increase.
The system does not automatically update booked appointments going forward, only new appointments.
There needs to be an option to batch update all appointments from a given date to reflect the new prices of services.
Manually changing each appointment by changing the service > saving, then changing the appointment service again is not an acceptable option imo.17 votes
We’ve updated the Services Section!
Not only do you have a new designed but you can now bulk update all future appointments with your new prices.
Simply go to “Services” to update the price of a service and you’ll be given the option to update “All Future Appointments”
Would love you to bring back the arrive button when a client comes in, would be so much easier for people knowing who's here, Thanks x1 vote

Just click on the appointment click “New appointment” with the blue star and you’ll see the Arrived Status option :)
Please bring back the completed button. Now when we have a client pay in advance for a treatment and apply the payment it shows the treatment as being completed.3 votes
We’ve brought this back for you :) You can now pay in advance and the appointment will not show as completed.
You’ll still be able to apply a part payment, apply the remaining payment and mark it as complete later :)

This will be because your’e creating multiple appointments rather than one appointment with multiple Services.
After you add one service to an appointment, if you scroll down, you’ll see an option to add more services.
One appointment = one reminder and one invoice :)

id love to be able to have other services on my menu that i don't want the public to access or see online,

I've already ranted on another thread about this, but I think it deserves some serious attention if Shedul wants to be truly the BEST option in online booking services across the board. I've been using online booking for 10 years and I am here to tell you that this product is head and shoulders above Acuity, Mindbody, Genbook, Booker, Wix and a bunch of others - all of which I've used! HOWEVER - there is one major and super important area that none of these companies have gotten right and they are missing out on thousands of clients because of it.... Ready for it? It's not the slick interface, customizable app, or the ability to stick your picture in your profile. It's THE INVOICES. They are all terrible, ugly, and missing the all-important fields required to make them useful to anyone in a Health Care role who needs to issue receipts for their clients to use to make extended health care claims! This is SO simple and so frustratingly absent in the world of online business software.
Believe me, there is nothing worse that having an impressive website, intuitive booking system, and awkward useless receipts - it makes us look unprofessional, to say the least.
Currently, Shedul is missing out on Massage Therapists, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Kinesiologists, Psychotherapists, Chiropodists, Occupational Therapists, Osteopaths, Speech Therapists, Acupuncturists, and a host of other regulated health professionals because of an ugly invoice? Really?
Come on, guys! You are sooooo close to offering the best service I have seen. Please please please either:
Make invoices entirely customizable with the following field options that are ESSENTIAL to these professions:
- Client full name
- Business full name and address
- Full name of service provider and their *license number*
- Name of the service (ie: Therapeutic Massage)
- Duration of actual service (how many minutes or hours)
- Cost of service before taxes, if taxes are applicable
- Method of payment (not essential, but I'm throwing that in because it's sensible)
Simply make all invoices include this information. I'm good either way :)
I'm totally impressed. Now, why don't you blow the lid off the industry and get all the paraprofessionals I listed choosing Shedul over any other system because it serves their needs! It doesn't matter how pretty it is if we can't use it - so just make this one little change and I will shout from the rooftops that everyone should use Shedul. Promise.

You can now update the details that are displayed on your invoice under "Setup">"Invoices & Receipts" including client’s full name, address and custom notes.
Likewise, before applying payment, you can select “more options”>"Invoice details" and add ad-hoc notes directly to the invoice.

We'd love to be able to open a report or even an option in the Payment/ Sales tab to show different payment types ie list all payments made by cash or just cheque etc1 vote
Go to “Sales” >"Payments" to see a full breakdown, then go to “Reports” >"Payment Summary" to see the summary :)
While making my 2018 Projected Cash-Flow, I realized my hours were wrong! The dashboard shows working hours per month, as well as what was booked, for Occupancy Rate, which is great, but the working hours did not take into account the FULL WEEK of scheduled Closed Days.1 vote
Default Appointments to complete at checkout. currently the person doing the checkout has to select that an appoint is complete, surely this should be the default setting or maybe a default value in the setup. If full payment has been taken why would you leave the appointment open?
( OK so maybe you took payment in advance but that should allow you to uncheck the Mark Appointment Complete box as it would be much more infrequent than marking complete )1 vote
Hey Mary! Thanks for sharing.
If you check out an appointment in the past, it will automatically be marked as completed. If you check out an appointment in the future, just above the “Checkout” button is a tick box to “Mark Appointment As Completed” :)
Even if the appointment is marked as completed, you can click on it and change the status to “Confirmed” to uncompleted it.

We have introduced new permissions for “Can book appointments” and “Can checkout sales”, so owners can easily grant access to all actions related to appointment and sales modifications.
When disabling these two permission levels, your staff member will have “View Only” access as they will be unable to edit, add or check out appointments :)
Head to “Staff” > “Permission Levels”
