APP. WE NEED AN APP :)
You guys should create a downloadable free app for Shedul that can be downloaded on android and apple devices. This app should also be able to be used offline and then once wifi or data is on it would upload any offline appointments or updates made on the website version. This would be really helpful when on the go, especially since my phone doesn't have data so I'm only able to check my bookings while I'm at home or somewhere else with WiFi. Thanks.2,307 votes
The downloadable app with in built staff notification will be ready to download from the start of Autumn :D
In the meantime, Shedul is already a Web App which means it’s already 100% optimised for mobiles and also means we can automatically release updates and new features every two weeks, without you needing to physically update a downloaded Native App every two weeks.
With a Web App, we can auto update your account for you regularly so you always have the latest version! :)
You can also already open your calendar on your mobile then “Add To Home Screen”. A Shedul Icon will then appear alongside your other applications for quick, easy access.

Please can we have payment date back as bank statements reflect payments later so dates are not corresponding
Clients EFT do card payments which only reflect on bank statements later so if the appointment is completed and payment reflects on statement the next day I need to change the date.With oustanding invoices at month end statement is received on the 1st of the next month and now it is impossible to back date the payment to balance to bank statement, Please reconsider this equest
Shedul will soon be processing real payments. For this reason, the invoice and payment dates need to be tracked based on when they actually happen.
We’d recommend starting the ritual of checking out appointments as soon as they have been completed so that your reports are aligned.
have a notification through text message for Staff members confirming,cancelling, new appointment booked online, Client Arrival etc just receiving an email is not enough and it would be great to have an android app that notifys you especially for online bookings.474 votes
We’ve started work on expanding Staff Notifications!
These are being developed as part of the downloadable app so that you can receive in app notifications for new appointments booked, rescheduled or cancelled appts as well as appt reminders :D
Please give option to edit the invoice after checkout sometime its required for the correction of the invoice.
Once and invoice has been raised, it cannot be edited. This is an accounting policy rather than a Shedul policy.
You can however open the invoice, click"More Options" >"Refund" and add new products or services to “Exchange”.
Likewise, you can Void the invoice and put it through again but remember that invoice dates are tracked based on when the invoice is created., so the new sale will be tracked based on the new invoice date.
Maybe a way to personalize questions or forms for client to fill out prior to booking an appointment. There are certain services offered that require the client to be 18, fill out certain information, or read over cancellation/appointment policy. It would be great to be able to personalize and incorporate that into the online booking system before they can place an appointment.561 votes
We do plan on adding custom intake forms to Shedul so that you can manage everything under one roof.
In the meantime, many businesses are using Google Forms or TypeForm to create forms and questionnaires and adding the URL link to Shedul’s client Email Notifications.
You can edit notifications under "Setup">"Client Notifications" where you’ll see the different message types for Reminders, Confirmations, Reschedules, Cancellations and Thanks Yous.

Ability to send appointment reminders at 2 set intervals, I.e. 24 hours before and 3 hours before. Many of us have cancellation policies that require 24 hours notice to cancel so it would be nice if clients got a reminder 24-48 hours before and then another one at a seperate pre-scheduled interval.135 votes

Can low user permissions please exclude the message section as this means all staff will have acces to clients contact details. Ideally low users can login to see their own client list for the day and change their hours but nothing further a client contact list is very valuable for a practice and at the moment the current user permissions rely on the staff being fully trustworthy and not leaving taking clients with them146 votes
I would like to see an option to reschedule/change appointments between multiple locations. Currently, I have 8 locations, and I will need to cancel the appointments & recreate them under the new location. When I hit "reschedule", it does not allow me to select the alternate location to display the calendar & move the appointment.20 votes

We have a multi room clinic and when using the all resources view it looks just like our paper diary, however it would be brilliant if I could allocate a team member to the room for the day and it shows their name under the room name at the top... Then it would be the absolute star of the show for diary management. I've trialled so many over the years and right now, I can't find the catch with Shedul - absolutely amazing!1 vote
Online bookings to be approved.
It would be fantastic to have an option, after the initial client approval or account creation,.. to determine whether or not a client can book freely every time, or if they will need approval every time. On an individual basis.
My vision is a simple group of options (drop down) within each client card:
- Always allow online booking
- Always require approval
- Do not allow online booking
These option would override the set of global rules.
If nothing is selected, global rules still apply.183 votes

Our logic is for Shedul to save you as much time as possible by reducing the steps needed to be taken.
As a result, you can simply publish the hours you are willing to work and clients can book directly with you meaning the appointment is automatically confirmed.
If there’s an approval process, it would be easier for then to call you, which increases your work load.
Keen to hear your thoughts :)
It would be cool if a text was sent to the stylist when we checked in their client at the front. That way we won't have to leave the desk to let them know! And btw...we love Shedul :)1 vote

We block lunch breaks using a recurring appointment, however, selecting "ongoing" creates different end dates that can expire. Room for improvement. Appreciated1 vote
Is there a way to add on servives to an appt that dont take any extra time? For instance, we offer pedicures but charge extra for a callus treatment, it doesnt take any extra time and it would be great to just add that on at checkout.
A "pop up" add on option, like macdonalds "would u like fries with that?", both for online bookings & insalon/ph bookings,48 votes

I think it would be nice if in the sms confirmation it would say "respond YES to confirm" and once the client confirms we are notified307 votes
We’re actually developing an even better solution than the client having to reply and re-confirm. We’re building a client facing application so they can “manage their bookings” including book, rebook, reschedule, cancel and even leave reviews!
As it’s all live bookings, it’s automatically confirmed. They’ll be reminded through the application to give them a chance to change the service details so there’s no need to re-confirm. If they no-show, you can choose to apply a no show fee or cancellation fee as you have their card details, once processing payments is live.
